Finally got a chance to clean the car after putting my smoked MKIVs on. I also used the clay bar today (can't say enough good things about it) I know there are haters here that don't like it without a hood swap on the Jetta, but I like the look with the hood spoiler. I snapped the quick pics as it started to sprinkle so I didn't have a chance to wipe down the tires and black plastic.
For those who wonder...
RPI sport springs/struts, Magnaflow exhaust
16" Technomagnisio Wheels
Smoked MKIVs, JOM grill, JE Design grill spoiler
etc, etc, etc.....

The install? Well, the lights are the usual...trim a little, test fit, trim a little, test fit, and so on. (its all about the dremel) The grill popped right on, fitament is good, not as nice as OE but good. As for the hood spoiler, the hardest part was sqeezing the ends between the lights and the fenders. It probably would've been easier but I put stonegard on the lights. (too much invested not to)
edit- as for the smoked covers, I'll think about that. How bad do they cut the output of the lights?

The mkIV install is actually really easy. Especially if you get the mounting kit along with the lights (I was able to get mine through Pottermans). I think it took me a little over three hours. But, now that I've done it once, the time would be considerably less.
Car looks really good man. I went with the clear lights, but the blacks look good. Nice work!

Re: My new eyes.... (shftat6)

as far as cutting the output, I have not noticed much of a decrease. They have a hole that goes around the projector so most of the light still gets through. They still cast the same distance in front of you, but the height they cover isnt as high as it used to be, but not noticeably different in driving situations. My friend is getting the same suspension kit this week and I will take pics sometime of the difference in fog casting on a garage door when his suspension is on.
