I've really got to get one of these........the stock beam is HEAVY!!

I'm not so sure I agree... It doesn't look so strong.

Whew... I was going to repost about lateral loads, but it looks as if that is a moot point.

Wouldn't the main bar hit the exhaust every time the shocks got compressed?

Well, thats easily fixed on a drag car...... it doesnt have to be pretty just functional...

I would prefer to make my GTI lighter in the front then in the back. Just a thought.

You guys are missing the point....this is for dragracing....where dead weight is dead weight!!!
Besides, for the 1/4, if you have to have weight anywhere, put it up front, over the drive wheels for traction......

you would have to use a fuel cell also. i think i have seen that beam on the HC forums.

is there aftermarket rear suspension beam such cut the weight ligher for daily driving? my rear suspension beam already have full of rusted

dragster suspension beam is nice but aint good for daily driving.

It looks like it was made by a Honda nut... Looks bass ackwards.

But interesting enough.
