Just a thought pulled from the old memory, but they look like they were from roughly a 91 Corrado G60.

AKA: BBS RZ's.

The BBS wheels that came on Corrados are also RZs (they came on BMWs as well).

There are early RZs, like these:

...and late RZs like your new ones, Andrew. So, you replaced "old" RZs with modern RZs.

Re: (SIR ANDROID184)

So glad I stumbled upon this thread, it allowed me to discover the BBS rz wheel. I finally just bought a set.
Anyone know what size tires this red cab has on it? I like the way they look like they stick out a bit on the rim. Any estimates as to it's size? Anyone know the owner of this car?

Thanks as always,
-Joe

That would be SIR ANDROID's car; if he got the wheels off a Corrado, they're 15" (195/50/15 being the stock tire size for them), unlike mine which are 14".

Kamzcab86 is right 195/50/15 are stock size
In that pic my car had 205/50/15...I bought them used and they came with those tires, so I didn't downsize
Image
......car handled awesome, but rubbed a bit {HARD} over bumps and spirited driving
Image
. I was running H&R's with Bilstein's and I also had spacers in the back to push the wheels out flush....I hate that rear wheel sunken in look. I would go with 195/50/15 or a 205/45/15...it'll still sit nice pull in a bit at the top......or just roll the lips

and then you could rock whatever you want
