260 or 266 TT Cam ?

Next summer I plan on going FI so I don't want a anything too big but, I still want something that I will notice the gains with. I have heard that 266 is just a little bit to big but others say its ok, I have also notcied most are runnign a 260 cam.
Also what am I going to need for the install, I am letting a shop do it but they are Charging and arma nd a leg for parts so I think I will order everything from TT.
BTW this is a 2001 Golf

I've read in the Corrado forum guys using the 260/268 assymetric cam and like it...you might give that a shot considering you're going FI later on. If I were going with TT products, I would've gone that route.
I am using a Schrick 260 because I plan to supercharge this coming year.

Pardon the intrusion, but what's FI? I did a search in this forum...

FI = Forced Induction...
