Getting new wheels, what tire size whould I get?

I am getting a set of Flik Apex High-Gloss 16x7 wheels. Which size tires should I get? (ie: 215/50/R16, etc.) TIA

i would go with 215/40/16

I am not up on the whole tire size thing... what provides the best comfort and what are the real differences (confort/handling/profile/etc) between the different sizes?

205 or 215/45/16.
Do NOT run 40's in PA, you will be replacing wheels constantly.

the width of the rubber
205/45/16
width/height/tire size

I got 205/40/16 and I'm switching to 45 series tires too jerky and I feel like I might risk bending the rim the way I drive

and I drive on roads that are less then 10 years old

roads around us aren't that bad so if I were you I would try to get a 215-40-16 the extra width will give you better traction on the street and in dry weather, but remember the wider you go the worse off you'll be in the rain (read: more surface area = greater chance of hydroplaining) a 215-40 will be a low profile tire and just wide enough too.
