Well as I searched and wasn't able to find anything that would be to the point I figured future vortexers will appreciate it.

So how many on OBD-1 1 sensor?
I have a 93 SLC and it has 2 but I want to be sure.

Re: How many Oxygen Sensors on OBD-1 (Toby16custom)

Ok, This helps a lot since the shop replaced the pre- cat sensor and the post cat sensor is a single wire o2 that aparently has been spliced into the harness at some point.

Re: (kevwithoutacorrado)

Yeah my car has apparantly been owned by the cheapest dumbest PO in the world.
The car is still OBD-1 and yes the shop replaced the pre cat sensor with the original one but the MFA still reads 8-10mpg
The car runs fine but once in a while when turning the car will cut out as if it was to rich.

Damn shop just replaced and charged never even took a second look and wondered? Why does a 93 have 2 O2?
So no I'm fixing it on my own screw the shop. I just need a VGA or someone to help me figure this out with a diagram and voltmeter.

Re: (CorradoVR6pr)

96+ is OBD2 and therefore has 2 o2 sens.
My 94 OBD1 VR rado , like 95 GTI's are OBD1. Just look under your car. Its very obvious.
Your MPG via MFA is sensitive to vacuum leaks and will read incorrect from them.
