so we live in probably the worst ally in the city of chicago, i swear there is always someone who has left their car in the middle of the ally blocking everyone for EVARRRR!!!! so we had just finished dinner and were cleaning up when we heard that one horn.... the horn that you only hear in italian cars... i had known that one of my neighbors had a 612, man took crap care of it, leaving it in the street during a snow fall

my god is that thing beautiful in real life, i guess he had just traded in the 612 and got this, the only thing that i kind had to look twice at was the roof/top thing. it looked like it was curved glass, and i dont know it didnt quite sit right.....
however i would love to drive that thing......

how many did they make?

That would be the 575 Superamerica. They made 559 of them - the glass roof pivots at the rear to sit above the engine cover for open top driving.
It's more powerful than the regular 575, too.

Not only that, but it is an electrochromic glass that you can adjust the darkness of the "tint"

Isn't that tricky for a front-engined car?

Oh hell... good point.
I have no idea why I said that... I'm just used to thinking of mid-engined Ferraris for some reason. I know the engine's not back there!
