I start no arguement with you, as this isn't in any way your fault. But at this point, all I know is that someone had no problem taking my money, still has it over 3 months later, has made no attempt to face the community with an apology or a suggested solution for this mess, and has directly lied to me about processing my order over a month and a half ago, and guess what, I still haven't recieved anything. I sent him a very stern email the other day to which I have had no response (like every other email I sent him AFTER he got my money). And now I can't even file a dispute on paypal, because I trusted in the fact that patatron is a "good guy who wouldnt ever screw anybody" and it's now over 45 days since I sent him money. That'll teach me to trust anybody on vortex again http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

all i can do is relay info as pat literally doesnt have enough hrs in the day to do everything on his own. i explained why your emails have not been responded too and also why he is continuing to not respond.
He has records of all the orders made and they will def get sent out as soon as they are completed. We are meeting up tonight to discuss ways to solve these issues http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Well i find it strange how he had no problem answering the numerous emails I sent him within the day I sent them, and all of a sudden once I send him money , he disappears, and I cant get ahold of the guy, except when he sends me this email on april 2....

order a wiring pigtail. If you wanna add the wiring pigtail to your
order, I
will reduce the pigtail price (normally $80 for the pigtail, I can send
a
money request for $70 if you want to add this). Let me know! -Pat

I dont think Pat is trying to scam you. He is just backed up and as for offering you a pigtail at a reduced price. This was probably just to make your install easier. I ordered my MS and had to wait 2 months and i did get it with no problems. Also from what i have seen Pat has returned $ so its not like he is taking your cash and giving you nothing.
I dont know pat personally, but had no problems with my order and dont see this being like any type of scam. Pat is a good guy. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif To Patatron and thanks for the MS.

VWRalley, I'd for one like to say thank you for doing what you can to help Pat and the people who have pre-purchased his units. Being one of those people or not I would like to do what I can to help and wish I was closer so I could. As such, I will be trying not to send any emails or bugging Pat until I absolutely have to. After talking to Pat quite a bit on the forums I have a firm belief in the positivity of his character so I do not in any way want him to feel negative about my transaction. I will make no demands or requests until the paypal dispute timeline has reached it's limit and if I have not heard from or recieved a package from Pat I will then file a claim, as it will be a last ditch effort. I do not want him to think I do not trust him but, unfortunately in this case, business is business.
Again I applaud you for your efforts and think that there are many ways that will help rectify this situation. First and foremost Pat should take an hour or so off of soldering and post to both the vortex and to his forums the status of all orders that he has recieved and an eta. He should also as somebody said, perhaps stop taking orders until he has caught up. The only reason I can see for not doing this is needing the money from more sales just to purchase parts for the remaining orders, and if that is the case then I really feel he owes it to his customers to let them know and tell them honestly when they can expect their goods or a refund.
Again, I am very much a believer in Pat's skills and character and I just would like to this handled quickly and with the utmost diplomacy so that his name is not any further tarnished and his customers remain happy.

i realize you may be upset, but if are going to make comments like that and take on a harsh attitude, you will recieve no help from me. the people who are being civil and respectfull of this situation have and are being taken care of. orders are getting filled as quickly as they can.
you simply have to realize that he doesnt look at emails and log online everyday becuase if he did it would probably take 3 more months to get stuff done.
as i said above, im meeting with pat tonight to figure out a way to get things straight, or at the very least get people an updated status on their ordes.

That person has no involvement in this issue, and I dont think anybody appreciates the person who enters a thread trying to start an arguement because theyre bored. I have been a bit rash, but only cause I have been patient for a long time, and things just seem a little fishy to me. If I am wrong, I would have no problem apologizing to patatron myself, and would even make a thread with a public apology for everybody to see if it would make him feel better. All I have to base a decision on thus far is what Ive been given, which just seems like a runaround. Again, I am sorry if I am handling this the wrong way, but I would like patatron to at least update us on this situation if he is indeed busy, just for peace of mind.

wow, this has gotten ugly. good luck everyone with your stuff. i don't know pat but i've seen him around here for years, and have never seen anyone say anything bad about him so that has to say something about his character. i'm sure that it'll all get worked out. even with all this drama about people waiting to get their stuff, and not having emails answered i still plan on placing my order.

I was just tired of people whining like it makes a difference if you act like a typical squeeky wheel consumer.
I have always wanted both sides to balance out.

Pat has not enough time to fill orders, no time to tend to his customers, yet his site is still accepting orders and taking peoples money.
He has guys making excuses for him, guys sticking up for him and many people quite unhappy.
His rep is down the toilet and I will be glad to hear when he is driven out of his so called "business."
What do all you twinks in the F@&&otron fan club do at your meetings?
