which do you guys perfer, the bentley repair book or cd rom?
I've had my 93 slc since 2000 and no problems till now. Blown coolant hose, mid engine, should be an easy fix, but will the book or cd identify the parts to replace?
thanks

Re: newbie needs your opinion (silvr6r)

IMHO, the CD is by far the better option.
Simply because of the fact that it gives you multiple, disposable copies of the whole manual. You can print a section out, write notes on it, crumple it up, get grubby fingerprints all over it, let your dog chew on it and your cat pee on it, then throw it out when you're done with the task at hand, knowing that you've got that CD in a safe place, so you can print the section out again when you need it again.
When I used to work on Saabs a lot, I hated having the book copy of a repair manual. After just a few uses of some sections, they were pretty covered with grimy fingerprints, and the books would get pretty ratty looking.

Please don't ask people to do illegal things for you on these forums. It is a good way to get the boot. If you're hot on the idea of getting someone to burn you a CD, persue the idea by other means.
