I'm in a dilemma right now because I'm not sure on what variant to buy. I think v2's would be good enough for me but do you think after i buy them i will be missing out on what v3's will have to offer?
Also..for the people with the variant 2 and variant 3 coil overs, how do you like them?

Re: (NeveruN)

thats exactly what i was thinking. I was thinking that v3's might be a little to much, and that v1's didn't cut it. v2's sound perfect. Honestly i was told that H&R coilovers are better than the KW v1's. So i was either looking at v2's or v3's, and i turned away from H&R because there not stainless steel, and i heard from a mechanic that he has had a set and they were really bouncy.

Re: KW, variant 2 or 3? (ink_blot)

ink,
i own v1...they're fine.
if you're looking for more control on an everyday driver, v2 would be perfect. DO NOT BUY V3 JUST BECAUSE IT EXISTS.
i wish you were near by. i'd let you "run a lap" on my V1's just you'd be able to make an educated decision.

go for V2. V3's i'd only recommend to someone planning on doing some serious racing: track, canyon, autocross... cuz wen do u really need to adjust ur rebound and compression damping to race Mr Civic with glued on turbo down main street?

lol, haha.
I've read some good replies in this thread and thank you for helping me with my decision. If anyone else has anything to say your welcome to chime in.

Re: (ink_blot)

How do the KW V2's compare to the Koni coils? I've read online (so take that for what its worth) that Koni makes the shock bodies for the KW's. Both are damping adjustable, but there is a ~$300 price difference. I'm not interested in which one goes lowerr, just which one would yield the best handling results. Thanks!
