Kenwood p-907 TV: 2000 Jetta GLX

I am installing this unit and need to know if there is a way to simulate the parking brake being engaged. There is a lead on these monitors that goto the parking brake wires so you can't change settings or view video while in motion. Anyone know a work-around for this? If not, anyone know how and where I can tap into the wires.

I will be installing a pioneer video system soon, and will be doing the same thing.
Turn the system on
take the 2 parking brake wires and either ground them, or give them 12+, it should be one or the other
