Hey guys, I found an R32 today and after a few months of trying to decide on what car to buy, I bought it! It's DBP and only has 3,500 miles on the clock. I paid $26k from the local Porsche dealership. I think I got an incredible deal

I'll post some pics of it up later, but I'm too busy drooling over it right now....
Any get togethers in the Minneapolis area soon???

Yeah, it still has that new car smell http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
I noticed after driving today though that it took quite awhile for my engine to cool down. The hood of the car was still hot like an hour after it had been parked in the garage. Normal??

Yes. Oil temperatures in the VR6 always go 220 - 240F at highway speeds in the summer. In the winter it is usually locked at 200 F. On a track hot day I have seen 275. That is when I give her a break. Nature of the beast.
I just noticed we have 2 of the same cars.
Got AWD? http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
Congratulations. Any pic's....

The TT is actually my mom's. I get to drive it from time to time though. Probably not so much anymore now that I got the .:R.
I snapped some quick pics today, but I'm not sure how to post them up on here, can someone help?

You've got a really large cast iron block retaining heat now my friend. The upside is that it's good for around 700 horsepower. The downside is the fact you're nowhere near that and have a lot of weight over the front axle.

Yeah, it stays hotter than the old DSM did, haha.
So, it's been three days since I bought the car and I still have yet to stop grinning or telling anyone who will listen all about it. I find that I am making excuses to take the long routes to work and the girlfriend's house. Preferrably the long and twisty routes. I love this thing!
I dropped by the VW dealer today and they couldn't believe I got one with only 3,500 miles on it.
