I am wondering if the price point was the same if you would still prefer a miata (or mx-5) or a similar vintage S2000
there is a very strong aftermarket for each, although due to number of units sold, and used in some form of motorsport, miata bits are definitely much cheaper. Also you do have to sort through more rice and dyno queen parts with the S2K.
I'm not trying to stir the pot with this just wanting to know whether you'd take a original or the bigger, more powerful yet didn't manage to screw up the formula version.
