Rollin' on steelies "trashy" ??

Heh, took off the (gay) hubcaps that came with the car, cleaned up the steelies and have been rollin' on them for the past couple of days.
Parents said it looks trashy, and goes along with my "ghetto" muffler (which needs replacing, stock, just 'dead').
Whadda ya think? Steelies trashy or no?

there is nothing wrong with it, they look better than caps and they are a step between OE wheels and high class rims. Mabey he wants to spend his money on things that will actualy help is car perform before he decks it out. Ricers do it for the same reason Dub tuners do it, because it looks better than hub caps.
oh yeah, and don't listen to what your parents say about your car. My Mom told me my Jetta looked "cute" when I first got it. I was just thinking "mom this is not a cute car it is a cool car"

I guess I should feel fortunate with how my Mom is. Although she hates the fact that I drive a sports car and always go to fast, she's always begging me to drive my car. And she's even told me she's raced people when she borrows it.

im rolling on black steel right now myself.
My friend stole my hubcaps, not like i care much, it was pretty funny.
He made sure i saw him making off with them

i just cleaned up the steel real nice and painted them with a black acryllic/enamel. Its not uber shiny or anything, it just looks like they are really clean metal.
