Hey everyone. I'm very new to VW but I've been spending a lot of time researching and reading. Placed my orders just now and I have a feeling that I'm missing something, so I thought I would list what I purchased and let the pro's look it over to see if I missed anything. Any help or advice is appreciated!
Here's the list - car is an 07 GTI 4dr. Going to keep my 18" Huffs and 225/40/18 tires, drop the car with coilovers, and push out the rear wheels 10mm.
1 V-Maxx coilover kit
1 set ECS/OEM Front Suspension hardware kit
1 pair H&R DR Series Wheel Spacers 10mm for rears
10 ECS Ball Seat 14x1.5x40mm Wheel Bolts for OEM Wheels
That's it...how did I do? Did I miss anything?

Re: (vrsix kevin)

Well from what I've read, the hardware kit contains replacements for all parts that VW considers "one time use"...so I bought it. Probably overkill but better safe than sorry I guess.
As far as the bolts, they are about 12mm longer but otherwise identical to OEM in order to compensate for the 10mm spacers I'm going to have out back. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

ha.
op, yes, it seems that you have everything covered.
the oem wheel bolts are ~28mm, and with 10mm spacers, 40mm length should be good.
great researching.

About that hardware that VW suggests being one-time use only: Can you purchase those bolts at a dealership? Reason I'm asking is because ECS wants $27.97 for that little replacement kit, after you add shipping. There's no way in hell I'm going to pay $28 for 4 bolts & 2 nuts!
