the best place to get a stripped out exhaust manifold stud hole fixed at?
I am wondering what the best way to go on this is.
I am running a 1.8 G60 motor with a turbo conversion. Would I be able to use a helicoil?

The hardest part is getting in there with a drill bit on a counterflow head while on the car with everything bolted up. It can be done from underneath and I have done it before, but it is not the funnest job and you really need a right angle drill. also depends on which stud as well as your setup, whether or not you can get in there with everything bolted up.
Basically, you drill he stripped hole to the next proper size, tap it and then use the special tool to insert (wind in) the helicoil, unscrew the insertion tool and then break the tab off the helicoil.
