Hey All,
I recently purchased a 4Motion Front Lip, Rear GLI Valence, and 2 GLI skirts. They are new and OEM parts. I just had a shop Quote me $900.00 for paint and install?
Is this a rip off or Normal?
Thanks.
Not sure if it matters but the paint will Platinum gray

not too bad of a price. not saying you couldn't do better
You can install yourself to save $$$$

Well it sounds a little high but that might be because of the install...
Why don't you just install everything yourself? It should save you a few hundred and the front/rear lips are easy and the sides can be pretty easy overall.

brand new GLI skirts= 600 bucks
4-motion front= 100 bucks
GLI rear valence= $200-ish
......it sounds right. but you could find the skirts used for cheaper.

also the 4-motion front valence won't flow with the rest of the body pieces you plan on getting IMO......

I paid 660 shipped to my door for all the parts. 900 was the quote for paint and install only.
As far as flow, I dig......

definitely install them yourself, Have the shop paint em and then give them back to you. It should save you a couple hundered bucks and you'll be happier knowing you did it yourself. there's lots of DIY's on here on how to do it.
