I realize this may be a bit premature...
I'm a die-hard die-cast collector who is always looking for additions to my collection. I've found models of every car I've ever owned, so does anyone know how to get ahold of a 337 scale model (i.e. 1/18, 1/24, 1/43)?? I'll take anything I can get, although I'd prefer not to have to build one, I'm a crappy model maker (hence that's why I get die-casts

They may not be released yet but I also have no clue if anyone will make one. I'm hoping one of the big model makers (BBurago, Maisto, HotWheels) will decide to make one.
Let me know if any of you have heard anything or seen anything lately.

Re: Any 337 scale models out there? (threethree7)

I kind of doubt that you will be able to find a 337 scale model. There just weren't enough made and there wasn't enough press for them. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Well, I'll continue to hold my breath...stranger things have happened.

I doubt youll find a 337 model, but I would not be surprised if there are models of the 25th anniversary edition available in Europe. Try German ebay or a European model site. Good Luck and keep us updated.

Good idea! Maybe I'll look around for a GTI body for my RC Car and paint it silver. . . I already have one for my 318. . .Tamiya preferred (since it's a show car) although HPI's are more flexible.

I think the best bet for finding a 25th Anniv model is from http://www.exoticar.com. Exoticar has a ton of cars. I get their physical catalog somehow and their are tons of makes/models. Go to the website and request a catalog. It's great. No 337 yet though..
Edit: Just checked. exoticar has the beetle rsi and the phaeton. no 337
If you find a 1/10 scale GTI body that fits RC-10L, let me know the brand. I checked numerous hobby shops without any luck.

LOL, I think I could even mess that up. I'm gonna hope that someone makes a 337 but I may have to go the custom route. Anyway, I'll let y'all know what I find out.

Revell Monogram of Germany doesn't make that GTI model anymore. I have been trying to get it for the past 2 weeks...and come to find out, they stopped making it about a year ago.

ok, so this probably isn't exactly what you're talking about. thought you might enjoy seeing it though. a classic.
my wife got it for me while i was waiting for delivery of the real gti (you know, to hold me over). that's why i married her -- she rules.
