Are you going with the REVO 440cc program? Did you get the newer style downpipe and manifold from Arnold? I got my 60trim a little back from him. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

ok..to answer everyone's questions. i went with an externally gated 50 trim with a .48 ar housing. the ko4 sale is pending...keep in touch on that one though..not sure if he's gonna go through with it. and the pics are coming shortly. it just got here this afternoon and i had to work tonight so i haven't had a chance to take pics. i'll be running the revo 550cc file for now since i already have stg2 and it's only 150 more, but i will be saving up to get the uni 630cc file asap as i hear that its a superior tune. all in all...i am super excited to get this thing going and i'm completely impressed with pagparts' customer service, quality of work/parts, and price...i'd reccomend them to anyone! thanks arnold

I know you have heard very good stuff about the Uni program, but ask Arnold about Eurodyne. I got this software from him for my 60trim and it works the balls. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

its a tial 38mm with a 1 bar spring. and i'd like to see somewhere around the 330whp mark with high boost...but not till i get rods. but we shall see when all is said and done.

IMO i think havin 300-330 whp is safe on stock rods. just no more.

i have the software from arnold, 630cc, pump/race modes really smooth, pump gas idle is around 8-850, race gas is a hair over 1000rpm idle, 7500rpm limiter, when i get back to NY im going to go back im going to get it dynoed and tweaked if needed, hoping for around 370 on pump.. 330 from a 50trim should be had at 24psi on pump

Is that the Eurodyne software? Do you like it? Have you compared anything to it? I have both Revo and Eurodyne and it works a lot better.

to be honest, i havnt a clue. i told him i was going to get unitronic 630 software, then he said hes got software that is being finished for his kits and i got a good price on it( less than uni 630) i like it, its smooth, gas mileage is still good.. it doesnt run rich like some cars ive seen, i can got WOT and im not leaving massive clouds everywhere. i pulled my plugs and they were perfect color on all 4. no build up of any kind. going form pump to race is easy, like the APR functions. ive owned cars with Revo and APR k03 software, and, now my GTI is big turbo( k03/REVO) and with this software every things is better, i can beat on the car as much as i did with the stock turbo and gas mileage is similar.. in the spring time ill see how it does on street tires/stock axles/ pump gas.. and once i get some axles ill go back with slicks(24.5x8x15 M&H) and race gas( 110 low lead) i think 11s is possible on slicks with my setup @ 2800lbs)

t3t4 turbo. Its bigger than the t3 since it uses a t4 compressor with a t3 turbine. Its rated for about 500hp.
I thought the 50trim is good for 400hp??

since when is it good for 500hp?

look on pagparts' site. the t3/t4 50 trim .48ar is rated for 475 hp. anyway...an update..i installed the injectors and the fuel pump today. waiting to do the full install because i'm doing a clutch at the same time and it hasn't gotten here yet. the only problem i've seen so far...which isn't even that bad, is that the fuel pump that comes with the kit doesn't run a filter. it just uses the little screen that's in the fuel pump. also..depending on your car..you might have to rig up a way to get the fuel pump to sit firmly in the container. my container was a little bit too big and i had to put a hose clamp in there to get it to stay put. like i said..not a HUGE deal..but just something to think about when you're doing your own kit. can't wait till the clutch gets here so i can get this thing in...that is if these fires get put out soon...it's crazy here.
