That is because they do not exist.
Most folks will add a 3 inch diameter hose to the bottom section of the air filter box and route the hose to the front of the car so that cooler air can be drawn into the intake manifold.
Or you can copy this design by using a Volvo aluminum lower tray....

Re: air intake.... (Hydrokool)

Re: air intake.... (huntenrabbit)

Probably a K&N like this...

I didn't get as far as the can and ducting yet...... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: air intake.... (nairmac)

The lower aluminum air tray was from an early Volvo CIS 240 model but I don't know my Volvo models very well.
There is a K&N tapered air filter inside the "coffee can".

I actually purchased my particular K&N to fit in a setup like WWR's. And I also have the Volvo aluminum lower part in there as well; it seems like a good idea; thanks WWR!!

Re: air intake.... (nairmac)

The K&N website has a complete listing of all of their air filters. The outer diameter of the Volvo aluminum air tray tube is 2.75 inches.
The K&N filter that I used is RC-9350 which is a tapered cone filter with a flange length of 0.813 inches.
