Round dash kit

its an early(like 93, 94, 95) mk3 dash, not sure if it looks any different from the later dashes though, i haven't been in my car fr over a month, as for the color coding, thats paint, not a kit-- also, if you swap in an older dash without the airbag(glovebox instead of airbag) and your car has pass airbag, it is technically illegal

actually it's ONLY 93... i know a few people with 94's and they've got the typical dash. some other things are different in the earlier ones as well. the center console behind the ebrake has an oepn bin (no flip top) also no hatch release. different sunroof switch, different headlight switch (as you can see in the 93 dash, it kind of wraps around into the cluster) but on the 94's (not sure about 95) it's got a switch that almost looks like a euroswitch, but doesn't pull out. there's off, parking lights, and headlights. this was pre-DRL era. some other flukey little things.

doesn't your friend (what's his name again haha) have a 93? i didn't even look at his damn dash, stupid me.
yeah. i saw him at P's today, stopped and chatted for a few. he asked what suspension i had, LOL!!

It was '93 and very early '94 Vento's...Brinskan has one in his insane Golf...really cool..the vent dials even light up....

as far as i know... it is late 94 jettas only VW wanted to seperate the jetta from the golf and make it look classier.... i guess they gave up....
and you need the WHOLE dash, its completely different

btw... matt wait till you see what im doing to my dash... screw painting it.... ask marc

It's not technically, or any other way, illegal at all. There is nothing illegal about removing your own airbags.

i had a 94 jetta that had a 1 peice light switch like that, to the best of my memory that is how the rest of the dash was too... also unlike the pic, my gauges were the bubble style ones. they were black on black, there was no grey overlay like my 96

I'm pretty sure that Dash only came on the Jetta in the 1993/94 year My 94 GTI came with the regular dash However the Sunroof Switch was different and Sucked the Bag for that matter you had to hook you finger into the switch to open the roof Mine broke I upgraded to a 1997 switch. I also have the Open Bucket behind the E Brake lever also 1993/94 GTI's (here in canada) didn't come with a leather shift know or boot I've got the silly rubber one.

There is nothing illegal about the owner of a car removing his airbags.. It's only illegal for a dealer or mechanic to modify or change airbag system
