Sounds doable. I take it the trans wes working fine when it was removed? I really don't want to buy a piece of crap. I already have one of those.
If the trans is good let me know how you would like to do this.

Yes it was pulled from a good scirocco, it even cleaned up and pretty looking.
Shipping, last time i shipped a tranny UPS was $75-100 depending on if i can shove it into a rubbermaid crate..
