Anyone else storing their van/truck for winter?

I parked mine on Saturday. Roughly two hours before the snow arrived.
I think I'll eventually winter drive the Doka, but not this year. It's got summer tires right now, and I need to sort out the body. So it's tucked into the garage, where it's warm and clean, and ready to be attacked with some grinding discs and body filler.
Good times.

it's awesome. But unless you have an engine swap with some HP, the only time you can do it is in the snow

I think that'll be next year's plan. This year though, I need to eliminate rust and make it all one colour.

CO i have no choice with my only modr of transportation being an air cooled westfalia vanagon! haha i can't own multi cars at 17

As soon as I can get my Jetta to start and move, the Vanagon goes back in the garage.

I upgraded my daily driver from an 85GL to a very clean 87Wolf. Winter is on the way, and I still have the 85. About this time every year I put the snows on the van. The 85 is a raidoless, seamrusty, head drippy.......
I have driven a Vanagon in the winter every year, but never as a "beater".. This could be more fun....
