Here are the prospective sale OZ's:

And investing the money into a nice set of coilovers and than slamming the car on the stockers. I am actually growing fond of the stockers and would like to seem them wrapped in some new shoes on dropped dub

If might start an interested thread in the classifieds, but how much do you think I could get for the OZ's wrapped in brand new Pirellis? Also, how big do you think my stockers are? 15" or 16" I honestly cant tell

i say $300-$350 depending on how good the tires are.
they are 15"
this is what i would do.
put on stock wheels
try and sell the oz wheels
save money, add it up with money collected from oz wheels
buy some coilovers,
get some 195/45/15,
slam the S**** out of that vr.

Tires are basically brand new, a ton of tread left. What do the first two numbers (195) and (45) mean? 195/45/15. Hopefully that tells me the dimensions of the new tires I should get for the stockers. Want to wrap the stockers in fresh shoes, sell the OZ's than save for coilovers. Just replaced hatch, replaced clutch kit/flywheel, needs oil gasket replaced and cant wait for suspension. Hopefully someone on here or locally on craigslist will take the OZ's. You said posting them for $300-350 to start might get some attention? like i said the tires are basically brand new...
Hope it all works out. Fix everything little by little than bank enough money to slam it

Re: (chkaczsn)

ye 195/45/15 is pretty much the lowest profile tire you can get unless your special and you can find 195/40/15. If you plan on not going low and not buying coilovers just get 195/50/15 there just as good but the sidewall is a bit taller.
195 is how wide it is, 45 or 50 is how tall it is then the last numbe ris the diameter. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

multilug and/or fake rivets/bolts = COMPLETE CRAP.

i have to agree...multi lug looks like garbage...and probbly is in most cases..if its hidden by some centers its ok looking....and the fake rivets are like scars under strippers tits... http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

Re: (foxtrap)

195/45R15
the 195 is the width of the tire. I think measured in millimeters
the 45 is the height of the sidewall. it is a percentage.
so on a 195 width, the height is 45% the width
R15 just means the wheel diameter.
IMO for stock wheels you should have 205/50R15 tires.
Either get 205/50R15 or 205/45R15 for the pininfarinas. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
oh and I would list the OZs on craigslist for $450.

Will 205/50/15 's look good on the 15" stock wheels?
I called pepboys they can do me $365 for 4 tires installed with a 50,000 warranty
Hopefully that size will look good, if you have any experience or just know, let me know

Theyll look like the stock size tire, so theyll fit nicely on the wheel

Re: (GREGGO!)

Not a fan of multi lug at all . But if you must , then ok . BUT , those Akita rims have that huge akita on one spoke anyhow . But most rim companies will sell you plain , or un engraved units , then take them to an engraving place at the mall or somewheres , and get a kick asss VW emblem lasered into them for $25 . Solves that issue , now all you have to worry about is that big Akita on that one spoke .

I would like a little lower of a profile, but not too low that the ride noticeably rougher. Would 205/45/15 look lowER profile but still ride nice?
