I don't know if it's just bad audio, or if there's really a lot of exhaust popping...I'd almost think it was equipped with carbs to get that off-throttle popping. Not saying it's bad, I actually like it, but it's unexpected.

Luckilly, they've raced this car in other series, outside the US, and it's done just fine.
