Thought about this post the other day. For $25K the seat should simulate the game's acceleration, braking, and turns.

*On a side note - for wheels and set-ups - XBOX 360's Racing Wheel dropped to $99.99 at Target.

Alternately, you could race a real car. I don't think I'll spend more than $20K this year, and I expect to get twelve race weekends out of that money.

You can pretend you wrecked and totaled your car. Then the next time you log in you'll notice 7 negatives reviews and a nasty message reading "Thanks for blocking turn 8 on the last lap ******!" and a snapped picture of someone's balls.

I bought a used PS2 at EB Games with a trade-in special where I traded in an XBox game and three GameCube games that I was tired of (so, I got rid of three games that I didn't want, and got a PS2 in its original packaging for free) and bought a new copy of GT4 for $10 Canadian. So, I got the last version of the game for a total of $10 and paying 40-ish times that for part of GT5 really seems like too much.
