I checked mine too after it was rebuilt with lots of kluber. There was lots of grey paste, I can only imagine what the inside of the ic looks like.

Car has been running fine its just after it say for a few days and i started it back up that its runnin like ass

Mine was a blown oil seal at 30K. Had been that way for a while. When I talked to John at BBM and he figured it was an apex strip that had been worn down by the oil that caused the grey. Mine was THICK...as in you could see the swirl path of the airflow. At the end there is one of my puddles that formed after a while. Double check the color and how thick the film is. What it is is the apex strips being ground away with oil mixing in. but it aint the Kluber grease. If it gets chunky- best look for those warranty papers. Right now it aint no big deal.

Ever since installing the charger block off plate I've always got a thin oily film now. Used to be really thick and nasty all the way to the TB, and holy crap you should've seen inside my IC. Much cleaner now

um dont have one , wouldve been up a few months ago , WTF causes this only 2.5k mi on the charger rebuild and you remember how mint my displacer was
