8vavle into a 16valve

i was wondering if its possible to convert a 8 valve into a 16 vavle wiht ease.. just by finding an old 16v top from a junk yard and replacing my 8vavle top with it?????

IIRC, it's not simple. It's better to get the block too.

I have a brand new 16v 1.8 with 7k original mi. all the wiring harnesses and computers, intake/exhaust manifolds, pullys, water pump, ac compressor, alternator, 2y tranny with 90mm drive flanges, all misc. sensors on the engine, throttlebody, and fuel distribution block, and oil cooler/ filter
$1000. plus whatever shipping costs are.
