I looked through most of the threads about fiberglass sub enclosures in the spare tire well but couldn't find what I was looking for. After you get everything fiberglassed and ready to put back into the trunk, is there anything that needs to be done to keep the fiberglass enclosure from rattling

Re: for those of you with fiberglass sub enclosures (veryslow vw)

I generally put down some kind of softer material, or padding, if the fiberglass was laid down correctly, there should be no gap anywhere, but, it does shrink while drying, so, some padding may help in dampening any vibration.

alright, i think i can find something laying around the house. i dont have any gaps anywhere, i mad sure i took my time and did it right so just laying down something softer should do the trick

in my setup the mould was snug, but to keep away from the vibrating and possibly moving around i just wrapped the enclosure with speaker carpeting and mine aint goin no were.
