Hey guys,
bout 3.5k miles on my 337 and I'm starting to get nervous/paranoid...
She was bought with 48 miles on her.
@ 648 the radiator had to be replaced ("original one must have had a defect)
@ 1000 she threw a CEL ("just tighten your gas cap") and I noticed that my wheel was off slightly ("We'll fix it when you next bring it in")
@ 1100 I noticed that my drivers side monster mat was thin in some places and really thick (mold problem) in others. This was 4 days after purchase (Called about it, in perpetual waiting mode)
@ 2000 miles I noticed a rear squeak from the seat post ("Put some electical tape on it...or we can bend it...or we can lube it–still squeaks) and that the rims were getting white spots. ("We'll call around to see what that is...") and that my shift boot was rattling (new part ordered)
@ 2800 She threw a CEL again. ("Did you tighten the gas cap? Hmmm, it's misfired, you need to use lower octane gas. Oh and we replaced your gas cap")
Now I really like the car. But...there are some naggin issues...the squeak, the mat that I'm still waiting to get replaced, the rim blemishes, and why o why I should be using lower octane gas than is listed on the fuel flap? I've read about the coil pack issues...and I'm a little paranoid there...
What is the best way to approach this stuff. I don't want to be a whiney customer, and I don't want to be coming back over and over to get stuff fixed. I just want to get these few things taken care of. How should I word it? Also I've been going thru my salesman (who loves cars...and is a really nice guy to boot) in order to get things fixed. Is this the wrong way to go about it?
Any and all advice welcome...
