RSD Polished stainless hatch lifts?

I'd like to know as well, I've got hood struts on my hatch which consequently doesn't go very high and I'm tired of hitting my tall head on 'em.

Ok, I am told the R32 ones share a part number with b5.5 ones.

Same part, both fit. I'll be ordering a set locally.

yes robin is correct, they are the same p/n .. i checked today at work and let him know.. they are about 63 bucks a pair.. well from my work anyways

Well the ones from TMT are $37 and that doesn't include shipping, which usually is high from them. After all, this is an OE VW part and I myself would trust it more than an aftermarket. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

They have a brushed grain to the finish, but a little more shiny than "just brushed"...definitely not high polish though.

What are they made out of? Is it a paint that makes it look like brushed aluminum? Or can they be mirror polished?
