Got rid of my 16v shell today. It left on the same trailer it came home on, 1 week short of a year later, I think. I'm not going to bring a car in for scrap again, the recycling place was a friggin' joke, I got paid 50 bucks for it, and spent $25 in gas hauling it.
I really want another rocco. I'm planning on getting an A1 16v next summer, it might be a rocco. Or do the typical "16v in a rabbit."

The last I saw of it.

I know. It hurt to watch it just get crushed like that.

That hood was mega rock chipped, rusty, and pitted. The fenders had huge areas of cancer in them.
Really, if it was at all usable, it got stripped. What was there was either too rusty, bashed in from accidents, or damaged in some other way.

MK2 Windshields are available.
My brother works for an autoglass company in Cincinnati (installer)
He just got me a windshield for $80. Brand new. Not OEM of course but brand new.--Really the only reason I am replacing mine is the last installer didn't seat the seal right and I have trim hanging inside my car and it leaks.
