Master plan going into effect. Got my basic mods done. Now I'm working on the big guns for summer. Planning a APR stage 3 unless there is another kit out by then that looks more promising (PES, Greddy, etc.) and a 50 shot for those time when you need, all topped off with the ATP FMIC.
Is anyone running a AVC-R or something to raise the boost a little? I want to try and push the kit to about 280-300WHP then nitrous on top of that to reach 325-350WHP, which is my personal goal. Thanks for the responses.

Are you looking for that power all the time on 93 octane? or just in race mode?.I dont think there is anyone running a boost controller with APR but i did read about a TT APR STG 3 owner try a ECS N-75 but it didnt work. You might want to look into some cams for more top end .

Yeah I was thinking cams. I really just want to get 300WHP on 93-94 gas, then nitrous on top. I obviously wouldn't be spraying all the time, but at the track it will probably happen.

I would go for a bigger turbo then .There must be a good reson why APR only makes 250-270WHP on 93 octane .Im sure if there was extra Safe HP to be had they would have used it.I dont think there is anyone currently on the Tex that has dynoed at 300WHP on 93.According to SCC even Billy -T only made 285WHP on 93.

When APR releases their FMIC/Cam specific software, I'm pretty sure we will see around 300whp on pump gas. The stock IC is just to damn hot by the end of a pull to get the Hp that high up top.

i think instead of raising boost with a boost controller, personally, i would much rather have one to decrease boost in 1st + 2nd gear at specific rpms...i think that would result in much better times at the track with a stage III kit...as well as more safety + driveability around town...not saying the kit isn't driveable, you just get a lot of wheelspin if you get on it in 1st or 2nd, given all the power...these are the only reasons i would like a boost controller.

hehe or convert your car into a AWD

all wheel drive

costly but effective
How bout that APC boost controller ? cant you run certain PSI at certian RPM, not for better up top throught im talkig bout running lower boost in 1st or 2nd for better traction...

I have, Adrenalin's dyno got me to 256 @15psi and 287whp @ 18psi on 93, which is ~19% less than what a dynojet would read the horse power to be, so that would be 304 and 341 respectively

i don't think cams will do anything for our boosted engines. cams will either let too much boost in and cause harm or they will let too much boost out and do no good.
just my .02 worth,
matt

cams are the only thing getting you power above 6500rpm....ya a larger turbo helps but the stock cams are designed to work with a turbo that runs out of steam above that rpm.....you need cams or you will not be able to flow as much.....the Piper cams I have make a huge difference.
Billy's runs for the most part are done on 120 leaded race gas

Since search isn't working right now I just wanted to know what Billy T had to make that power. Anyone have a list or a link to somewhere on the forum? Sorry to ask, I would search if I could.
