Re: (RonWhite30311)

The 19th is my B-day so its kind of up in the air where I will be that weekend. This upcoming weekend I am going to get a stock carb for the Falcon just to get it drivable while I save up the dough for a properly built Weber conversion with all the right jets/etc. Having a stock carb on hand to use as a backup after doing the Weber will be nice too. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (Neon Washer Nozzle)

Saw a nice looking 1st gen RX-7 on mesh wheels in a wreck with some '80's Chrysler at the Oglethorpe exit today

I'm getting off from work early today and going to Summit Racing down in McDonough to get some parts http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (philgli)

Man, the po' was trying to catch Phil and me ridin' durty Monday night. Phil got out of the car and pimp slapped the guy so hard his gun went off, then he left us alone and the other two patrol cars were too scared to stick around. It was awesome
as a side note, I got my spacers ordered today and the wheels should be rolling next week some time. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (core5)

Summit did not have my part. Aparrently when the computer says its "in stock" it doesn't tell you where its "in stock" at. My part was "in stock" somewhere in Ohio

What part do you need Mav?

I need the metal/tin inner timing cover piece to do the job right. The trick is that with my conversion, I need it from a 93-98 2.0 Dub.
There is a junkyard in Monroe I am going to try before going all the way to Norcross. Don't want to make that drive if I don't have to.

EDIT: If anyone knows of someone parting out a 2.0 MK3, please let me know. Thanks.

Re: (VW Maverick)

That peice should be easy to get, plenty of ABA's at the Norcross PAP, at least there were plenty of ABA's when I was there 2 weeks ago. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (u2hvacrd)

i got some interior trim pieces from pap today . from a burgendy golf deisel 4 door that had to be a katrina car or a flood victim somewhere . it had a hard water mark all around about 4 inches from the glass. i got the plastic seat rail cover and a dash vent with good clips . and it was free..after that trip and much profanity and general ill will i changed the transaxle fluid and put rear shocks on the rat. i pulled out of mavericK's driveway for a few high speed passes . no bounce -- no noise -- just a proper feeling reaction
Image

i was going to go out and snipe some squirrels but hearing how james showed his pimp hand to johnny law i am in a much better mood and the anger subsides . thanks james

i'm sure you agree , sometimes you got to strong arm a ho

i am about to go outside and detail the rat within an inch of it's pathetic existance . tires wheels inside outside -- engine bay .. since my kid is at the grandparents i am planning on a 2 hour tour of dirt . i shoud have cleaned the springs since i had them all apart yesturday

the new trans fluid has made a big difference in the shifts. i had a hard time getting it into first sometimes . thats because it only had about 1 quart of fluid and it was pretty shot

The wife had our camera so I did not get any pics of another MK2 tech day at my place yesterday with me and Russell doing our own little projects. He did the rear shocks and trans fluid. I am installing the 2.0 timing covers on my conversion.
Ran into a couple of Dub Nuts at PAP on Saturday. I invited them to this month's GTG. The more, the merrier.

It looks like you have small bumper turn signals in your bumper... I have a set of the right big bumper turn signals if you need them http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
