I have to replace one. Well I think I have to replace one, is there another reason why I blow the fuel pump fuse when I try to start my car? Been trying to look it up online and so far not finding much on a 2001 model specifically. On earlier models it's located in the top of the gas tank. Can anyone confirm or deny?

You won't find much info on a 2001 or 2002 model Escort sedan since they were sold to fleets only. But it should be the exact same as the 2000 model year.
