i know i am , TKD is a official sport and a good thing to watch , its different from most other true martial art tourney's , ref does not stop the round unless some one is knocked down ( read its not restarted after each point ) points are only got from hitting the red or blue portions of the chest peice and of course the head , no striking the back , or leg sweeps etc all kick must be chest high , and rig outs count againt the person who goes out
this is from the o4' games , the person i study under was on the national team from Korea in the 80' and part of the 90's

well , TKD is fun to watch for alot of reasons but korea puts the proballers of tkd and if they place 1-3 the get a check for the rest of their life , as an honour payment it gets brutal and unlike mma its a stand up fight . also consider that a back thrust kick when done well can produce 1200 ft lbs of pressure , and most round house kick are in 600-800 range. although they are using guards its still very hard on the body

No doubt, been watching them vids for quite a while. Do you have that type of chest guard? I got the head gear, gloves, and kicks, but no chest protector. Youd ruin me, yer to damn tall, but Id go for a few rounds for ishts with ya sometime. Id need a few weeks to loosen back up, my high kick has dropped like 2+ feet in height before Ill pull a hammy.
