Reprogrammin a key/fob to open windows

Hey guys,
I was just told by a buddy of mine that with the help of a VAGCOM you can reprogram the fob so that it opens windows while keepin the unlock button pressed for a few seconds.
Does anyone know how this would work? and also is there a place in Toronto that i can take my car to have this done? I dont own a VAGCOM but i'm seriously looking into it considering all the reviews i've read.
Any help would be appreciated.

It can be done, although I do not know the exact coding. I'll see what I can find for ya...

Early Mk3 can use the Alarm module and window modules from later models to get the key /window up and down function, and the auto up and down window action.

if you want to do it with the cars OWN CCM
You need to find someone with or buy this:
magical windows go up/down with remote thingy module
And sorry to tell you guys it doesnt seem you can do it with the Vag-Com

This can be done through some hex-editing via a VAG-COM cable. There was a write-up in the MKIV forum a while ago, but can't seem to find it.
Search around....it's there.

The link I threw up has a bunch of options for what you can do with a stock remote - windows, remote start, rain sensing window roller uppers, etc. Looks very cool!

yes you have to use a vag-com and basically write the code for it to do it...lots of guys on the tdi-forum know how to do it most will do it for free...just no one down in charlotte does it
