So, I color matched my engine covers. It took a TON of clear coat. I didn't really like it at first, but it's growing on me now. I'm going to do the battery cover next. I think I'm going to paint it red, because I'm going to be running red boost hoses and a red TIP, so it should flow pretty well....
Sorry for the semi-crappy pics.. it was extremely bright outside, so I had to do a lot of editing to them...

You should have stayed with the look the cover has IMO,

Well, I was going to end up taking the covers off anyways, but I had some extra paint I had bought for touch up on my car. I wouldn't have done this if it was going to cost a lot. It was just a cheap way to cure my bordism, and it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would.

The work itself looks ok, just not a huge fan of the red with
all the other black. I'll hold out until the red hoses go on.
