Intake might give you a little extra, the sound is worth it though.
APR was the way to go 5 years ago, now we have more agressive reflashes like Unitronic. And you can upgrade to BT software later with them, unlike apr who doesn't offer BT software.
Marco @ SEM motorsport is in Toronto, they're a uni dealer and have some great products. You should ask them your questions.

Are you kidding me? Look at any logs of uni vs apr and you'll see a lot more timing and better numbers from uni than apr. I'm not making anything up.

better numbers? Sorry but thats bull, almost every software for K03-K04 turbos yield the same results, those maps are so damn perfectly tuned that you can't go wrong with whatever software you choose, so stop making stuff up and control your obsession with unitronic already.

Im with eurodyne, but if I could Id switch to Unitronic, drove a friends car with Stage 1+ witch is supose to be same as my stage 1 retuned eurodyne and, nothing compare.
and the reason UNI is top of the line for now is that their the only one who are still suppoting the 1.8T, apr and other are all concentrating on FSI2.0T

I tend to agree most of these tunes are so damn similar it doesn't make much of a difference. Find whatever chip tuner is closest and go with that brand since it will be alot easer to sort out any issues that you may have in the future.
