Well it has been a while since I have been to absolute. Stopped by today
and it doesnt look like the same place.
I went into the back through a "doorway" on the left of the office building and as I walked around I got the feeling they dont let anyone back to pull parts anymore. But no one kicked me out and I left without going in the office.
So whats the story there these days?
Also what is an alternative to Absolute?

Re: FV-QR (_a2coupe2a_)

they sold me a pos tranny that they swore was rebuilt, didnt even last 2 months.
when i went back to try to get my money back, they refused and told me to **** off.... litterally.

Why do people complain about buying used parts from a salvage yard.
It's used. Good chance it isn't going to work. If it isn't something your going to rebuild yourself or have someone else rebuild it for you don't buy it from a salvage yard.

Ya a lot, I bought a lot of stuff for my Corrado from them with out any problems. Maybe I am just lucky though. I haven't had the Corrado for awhile so maybe different people now. I am just saying you are buying used. No different then if you buy it from craigs list or ebay. Just be prepared that it will break down quicker then if you bought new rebuilt from a shop.

The sad fact is, regardless of how much they clean up the look, until they can clean up their past history and multitudes of disenfranchised customers, I would not recommend them to anyone. A turd, by any other name, would smell just as stanch.

well, there are several threads about this.. seems we see one every year.. we should print em, and hand em over for their business review.
bottom line, I'd fire their entire staff due to the BS I've personally had to deal with there, not to mention their dog BITING me on the arm, which I should have sued them over.

My post was edited, truth hurts.
I have had better luck with Dillon at Absolute. I'm sure someone has a horror story with him though. Every price he quoted me was the same when I went to get the part.
