Getting 16v started, need help, will pay $$, PA, NJ

I have an 89 GTI 16v that I need some help getting started. I have a lot of extra parts and soforth but it's driving me crazy. The car cranks has spark, but I'm not sure what do to next. I will pay for the gas to get here and some extra $$ for the person who gets it started. Previous owner said it was strickly injector lines and injectors. I have extra lines and injectors, also another fuel regulator, etc... Here is a pic of the car.

Thanks Matt (IwannaGTI), for letting me use your rims for a little to roll around on...if I have to take it to the shop.

do you have a bentley? cause it might be the feul dist....maybe check in the bentley under the cis-e section, and see if theyve got one of those charts that describes the symptoms, and it says what parts to check...sorry if that made no sense

just thought id add that i really like that color http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif its a shame its peeling off the flares and bumper...but its a really sweet color, as well as the gas filler cap and the audi handles http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

. My bud matt and I got it started. It was somethign so small, so stupid, that I have been kicking myself since it started. A split wire from the distributor. What an idiot,

Me too....didn't the previous owner live around Philadelphia? It has a filled in hatch and the license plate is in the bumper, right?

yeah, it does have a shaved hatch with the liscence plate in the rear bumper. It also has audi door handles and a TT styled gas cover and shaved banana lights.- Now, if I only had a rack and pinion that didn't lock up on me...
