Those look like chops. So I certainly hope those wheels are not "real".

They're not, or at least those aren't, but I think a "shocker" version of those could probably beat the Bentley wheels in tastelessness...

These are not some of the nicest wheels for a MKII.
I prefer these 15" Avus off of the MK4 actually. They are the right size for a MK2 and don't look to over the top or modern for the older car.

actually, we're both wrong. the only good wheels for a mkII are bbs's. duh

Re: (twerked)

You guys are confusing tasteless with stupid. The Devins are stupid. The Bears are stupid. The Assassins are stupid. The spinner Bentley wheels are actually not nearly as bad as you think - Rolls Royce is responsible for giving us the spinner caps, and the Bentley wheels are just the logical extension of keeping you logo straight up while rolling. But none of these wheels are truly tasteless. They are just not your style.
The pen|s wheels and the finger wheels are truly tasteless. OMG, only a complete ******* would drive around in public with those.

yeah, sure. because we all know mk2s were available with a VR6. I think he was referring to optional wheels.

Tell me how the f**k you mount those tires?
What a nightmare it must be...

Am I a bad person to wish someone like that should just wrap this monstrosity around a big tree, or have one rim fail at high speed?

Sears used to sell a Z Racing wheel that was a copy of the AR-24. I see those Z Racing wheels on lots of cars. They would put them on sale for like 4 14" for $200+, so they were a popular cheap wheel. As far as tasteful- they are rather simple designs, but I wouldn't call them tasteless. To me "tasteless" means more flashy and gaudy but lacking class.
