I am a recently converted vw person (used to drive Honda and BMW) but now I have an 02 GTI. I just wanted to see how many of you there were. I know there are a lot of Honda guys that I still hang out with and the BMW guys are cool, but I haven't seen too many vee dubs. That and the search is down so I can't do a search for Raleigh.

yep. we meet there every monday night - 6:30ish. look for the large group with tables pulled together (the waitstaff loves/hates us for that).
we just had a small GTG this weekend for some pictures of people's cars and also to meet some new folks. NCVW.org is a cool group in my opinion - lots of VW's from across all makes and models, great guys/girls to hang out with, and a lot of VW mechanical knowledge to boot!

I've got the same car but mine is still stock. I'll be working on that problem though.

Are you sure there's room enough for 2 02 Reflex silver GTI's

i think the total is up to 4 now. jay has a 1.8t in Gboro, chris has a 2.0L here in raleigh, eddie has the 1.8t here in raleigh, and now yours.
seems that silver is a good color choice on GTI's. oh, and i think there are a few 337's running around the triangle too -

could get to f'ville, school has me on lock down as this the end of the semester and i'm also trying to get the car ready for the upcoming track event this weekend at VIR!!!!!!!!
