Same chip works on 262's and 268's?

I am about to install some autotech 262's, and am looking for a chip to go with em. I found someone who has a chip that they used with their 268's, and am just wondering if they would both work on the same chip.

most chips that are made for a cam file will work, no diff from 262s,264s 268s etc

and yes, with giac, there's only one profile. i think C2 is the only ones who make "specific profile" chips
