Jeff apparently figured it out and the new C2 chips don't throw SAI codes. |

Not really. Unless someone has evidence supporting this claim. I removed the SAI, which was producing 1 code after i unhooked it. Now that he "coded it out" i have 3-4 codes all the time and no cruise control. It was something i agreed to do at the time under the understanding that I would have no cruise control but the car would run, which was the most important thing at the time. |

SAI system will not function below ~38F, Becuase of the possibilty of ice in the air pump. Should the pump try to run when frozen: possible SAI pump motor destruction. I'd bet this is mostly why (northern) Canadian spec. (live in cold weather) cars tend not to have SAI system as std. -Jeff |

Is there any way to get hands on an ECU from Canada? I'd like to get rid of that silly thing without pulling a code... Or rather, when being chipped, could it now really be coded out? |
