do the 3.94 , its makes the car sooo much fun to drive.
as someone else said, it makes the car feel 500 lbs lighter.

well if you're going to do a 3.94, you might as well put a quaife in there anyway since vw diffs SUCK. after that, you better get a new clutch kit, and throw in a light fly just for kicks. Oh, don't forget to throw in a new 2nd gear synchro if it's crunching. Lookin at about $2500 out the door for the tranny build. But this is a cam post, so someone should be able to chime in on how much it'll run ya to toss in some 268's, and all the little things you should do while installing those also i.e. timing chain, valve springs and such. hth
