Well, the joke around my town is they call me "The Red Baron" because of my German heritage & TR GTI. So, I decided to go with it & have had a europlate made saying Richtofen that'll I'll put in my back-ordered euro bumper, if it ever comes in. I know alot of you won't like my car & maybe some will? but that's what happens when you air your photos on a public forum. Before, I get flamed I have the banner on my car to support my sponsor, and that's the only outside decal, but I have other sponsor decals underneath my hood. The plan is to go fully shaved on everything. Entire front bumper, door handles/molding, rear emblem, antenna & fuel door. I would like to put a little build thread together as I progress.

Here's the front bumper off to the body shop, the entire bumper will be one piece w/ the osir fog covers being molded in smooth, sorry for the crappy iphone pics, but one day I'll have my wife take some good pics with her dslr:

Here's my buddy Justin at BMC filling the hood notch:

As it stands today, I'm waiting on new door skins to have shaved up & I will order the fuel cell soon. I have a ton of interior parts at the body shop & a new interior plan is being worked on. A bbk & new clutch will finish off my performance mods, as I'm already K04 & am very happy with the car's power. A AWD vs. widebody conversion is being researched & priced out. I'm not trying to show off, or start any drama, just sharing what I'm doing as far as my car, as I like learning from all of you guys too. I'm always open to suggestions http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I wanna thank the Wife, Walt, Mel & Josh for advice & inspiration. AWE & BMC & my good buddy Chuck & Dan

To answer a few questions, whoever gave up the code is right, my hatch just pops open now from the remote, and I do plan to keep the vents in the fog covers just to keep a air supply to my fenderwell filter. I'll keep posting pics as I get stuff done, and feel free to give your advice. I'm gonna try to add some more black in the bay soon.

car looks good.
are you going to keep the hood black, or go back to red to complete your "theme"?

Keeping the hood satin black, I like how it floes into the grille. A europlate is as far as I'm taking the theme.
