I have the stock bumper on my 01 gti. I am a complete idiot and bought the front valence for a euro bumper... I really don't know what I was thinking.

I was just wondering what different valences can be used on the stock North American bumper?

FV-QR

It is not a beginner DIY task to make it look good....

the euro valence will be about an inch shorter on each end.

I realize that...
Thats why I am asking for a different valence for NA bumpers?

My dad does body work for a living.

Then your dad would be the man to talk to. He's going to have to cut the ends off, space them about an inch, fill in that gap, then have to deal with all of the mounting tabs.
Fusor is the right product to use, this is not a bondo kind of job.

Thanks for the input... If nothing else this might be what I have to do.

I don't want a whole new bumper, I just need the valence. I just want to know what ones will fit that stock bumper without modification?

Any that say they are for a US bumper, haha.

Thanks for the input....

Does anyone know where to get a brand new stock valence?

Performance cafe, but I'd check the classifieds here first for a used one at a really attractive price.
