I had this post up in interior but i think this would be a better spot for it...
I am going to get a boost gauge and a wideband... is newsouth performance gauges good? they look sweet with the color matching and everything... and if i do get one with they double pods that sit above the steering wheel will it fit without shaving it and does it block any view of my dash or other meters?

Re: Gauges (JAplin)

The double pod will block your odo and clock.
Center blocks your dummy lights.
The all drop right on. They do require you cut a small hole to run the wires in the leather between the guages and the back of the steering column.
newsouth are good, but there are half a dozen good brands.

hahaha i liked the disclaimer lol... so everyone says a single pillar pod is safe but a double is questionable... I want to get a double for a wideband and a boost gauge, with the videos of the crash test i feel like it still wouldn't affect it but what do you guys think?

i run new south gauges and think they work very well.
LEDs match nearly perfect. some will complain they are too bright compared to other dashlights, but it doesn't bother me at all..
