I just put a stock VR6 back in with the Kinetic motorsports turbo kit that originally had on my other engine. there is a Neuspeed ECU in my car should I get re-programed? My air fuel ratio is running high at all ranges from idle to driving, The boost wont hold either at 8lbs. I need to check for vacuume leaks. Is there any way to check for boost leaks with out having to bring it to a dyno?

you can check for boost leaks by smoke testing the motor.

WG spring too weak wont cause boost creep. WG not flowing enough air or if it is just harder to flow thru the WG than thru the turbine and out the exhaust will cause boost creep.
What is happening with your car? You havent really said much detail other than it doesnt run right. What A/F's do you see? What boost does it make/does the boost fluctuate or what? Are you running a Neuspeed chip made for an N/A motor? You NEED to run the proper software. Did you install the whole kit? What injectors are you running?

starts up is fine, idles around 780 when warm, if i feather the throttle i get nice take off, if I kick it down spiting & sputtering, turbo wont hold at 8lbs boost (just a fixed spring) bogs the engine down & back fires a little bit & my rev governor kicks in! Yeah i purchased the vehicle spring of 2008 from a 19 year old who put about $6000 into the vehicle, It sounds like he cut a corner by using the Neuspeed chip, thats what I've been hearing! I'm guessing when he was installing the kit, he didn't have the $ for a proper fuel management system!! I was told C2 is the way to go! When i first purchased the car it ran great for about 4 months, than slowly went down hill, ended up losing half my comp in 1 & 2 cylinders, cause of the wrong injecters! just a guess! LOL I was amazed that i got 12,000 miles out of that engine in about 8 months! Stock injecters!

Dude, you didnt answer a single question! What A/F's do you see? What boost does it make? You probably already destroyed the motor by running it with the wrong software or injectors or whatever. Take the car to a mechanic who knows what they are doing.

A/F's? boost control says +5.5 mmhg! (A'pexi) wont hold steady. replacing the waste gate gaskets on it now. i have replaced all the vac lines! what more do want to know! i just put the engine in & the car is parked! (only $600 used engine) I'm planing on getting Stage 2 C2 fuel kit ! I drive another vehicle(93Buick) calm down! I did not install the system, Just trying to get info on whats the right way to set up the turbo system properly. You're breaking my B**** here!

A/F's are air fuel ratio... I bet you are running lean because you arent running a FI chip. Find someone local around you to help you out man, a shop or the local peeps.
